Key Responsibilities
Provide care to patients using the nursing process
Serve as charge nurse if assigned, coordinating activities on the unit
Assess unit needs and available resources
Participate in staff meetings, in-service, projects and committees
Adhere to policies and procedures
Work scheduled shifts including overtime and accept call schedule
Required Qualifications
Current and active Registered Nurse License in the State of Tennessee
Critical thinking skills
Decisive judgment
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to work in a stressful environment
Preferred Qualifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
