• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,760 - $1,890

PACU RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Illinois preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent PACU/Phase I nursing experience
• Experience in pre-op and Phase II recovery nursing
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required for healthcare jobs)
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented healthcare setting

PACU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
• Monitor and assess post-operative patient vital signs and recovery status
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with clinical protocols
• Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and discharge instructions
• Participate in weekend and holiday on-call rotation as required
