Key Responsibilities
Engineer solutions to improve equipment reliability, safety, and compliance
Provide technical support to Production, Maintenance, and IT departments
Develop, design, and update PLC, VFD, and HMI programs
Update and maintain National Instruments LabVIEW code
Interface with engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, IT, and Production teams
Apply NEC knowledge for planning industrial equipment installations
Supply project leaders with capital cost estimates and timelines
Lead projects or project steps and act as a resource for colleagues
Manage outside engineering and construction personnel
Integrate equipment into data collection systems
Support network backup, device patching management
Compile data from connected devices for organizational use
Identify and assume additional responsibilities for projects and processes
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
3+ years of professional experience
Experience with AutoCAD Electrical CAD software
Experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and test equipment
Knowledge of NFPA 70, 70E, and 79, and other technical codes
Knowledge of basic networking concepts and SQL Database
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Rockwell Automation software
Experience with Siemens software
Experience with National Instruments LabVIEW
