Job Description
Join Lincoln Electric as an Electrical Engineering Technologist to design and enhance electrical systems for manufacturing welding machines. Collaborate with a dynamic team to ensure compliance with safety and productivity objectives while enjoying competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Design and support industrial electrical systems
Modify solutions to improve equipment reliability and compliance with EHS
Provide technical support to Production, Maintenance, and IT departments
Maintain and update PLC, VFD, and HMI programs
Interface with engineering, manufacturing, and production teams
Supply project leaders with capital cost estimates and timelines
Lead projects and solve complex problems
Manage outside engineering and construction personnel
Integrate equipment into data collection systems
Compile data from connected devices
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology
3+ years of professional experience
Experience with AutoCAD Electrical CAD software
Experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and test equipment
Knowledge of NFPA 70, 70E, and 79, and other technical codes
Knowledge of basic networking concepts and SQL Database
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in supporting and troubleshooting industrial equipment
Flexibility to work off shifts and travel between facilities
