Travel ICU RN – Norwich, CT

Assignment: 12 weeks

Start Date: 12/15

Shift: Days (AM), 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Schedule: 3 × 12s, 36 hours/week, every other weekend, holidays as needed

On Call: None

Qualifications:

• 
  

  2+ years ICU experience

• 
  

  PCU experience required (PCU will be taking ICU overflow)

• 
  

  Experience in telemetry/PCU/ICU settings

• 
  

  Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Provide patient care within a dual-level unit (Telemetry/PCU/ICU) in a primary stroke center

• 
  

  Manage patient ratios of:

  
  
  • 
    

    1:5–6 (floor/telemetry)

  • 
    

    1:3 (PCU)

  • 
    

    1:2 (ICU)

• 
  

  Care for common diagnoses such as chest pain, strokes, respiratory failure, and sepsis

• 
  

  Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe and effective patient care

• 
  

  Maintain documentation and adhere to unit standards and protocols
