Join Raytheon's Effector RF Products Team as a Principal Engineer to lead the design and implementation of advanced antenna and sensor systems. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, oversee the development of state-of-the-art testing facilities, and mentor junior engineers, all while contributing to national defense initiatives.
Work with interdisciplinary engineering teams to define, analyze, and evaluate requirements
Oversee implementation of new ranges/chambers
Provide guidance, coaching, mentoring, and training to other employees
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or an Advanced Degree in a related field
Minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 6 years with an advanced degree
Experience in testing antennas or radomes in a chamber or test range
Knowledge of antenna and/or sensor measurement theory and range operation
Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Master of Science (MS) or PhD in electrical engineering
Experience simulating and/or estimating propagation effects on antennas
Measurement of hardware for RCS
Experience with high-level scientific programming languages like Python and MATLAB
Proficiency in modeling & simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, FEKO, SENTRi and GRASP
Experience designing and testing conformal antennas
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
