Position Overview:

Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital is seeking a highly experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment. This role is ideal for a nurse with a strong background in a mixed Med/Surg and Intermediate Care (IMCU) setting, looking to bring their expertise to a reputable and high-performing facility.

Unit Details:

• Unit Type: Mixed Med/Surg and Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)
• Patient Ratio: 1:5
• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• On-Call Requirement: None
• Meal Break: 30 minutes
• Weekend Requirement: Yes

Requirements:

• Minimum Experience: 3 years of recent PCU, IMCU, or Med/Surg experience
• Licensure: Active RN license in Illinois (IL)
• Certifications Required:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
