SAIIA Construction is seeking a Traveling Project Manager to oversee Civil and Construction projects, ensuring quality and timely completion. This role requires expertise in Heavy Civil Construction and involves significant travel across various project sites. Ideal candidates will thrive in a dynamic environment and manage client expectations effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all requirements for Civil and Construction projects including change orders, submittals, and procurement
Establish project objectives, policies, and performance standards
Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate construction activities
Monitor and control construction to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget
Prepare and disseminate required documentation records such as status reports and punch lists
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or equivalent related field
Minimum of 5 years previous experience in an equivalent position
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Proficiency in Hard Dollar, Bid Build, Heavy Build or similar construction estimating software
Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera or similar scheduling software
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of civil engineering design and construction methods and industry standards
Knowledge of mass grading, stormwater management, erosion control, and utility infrastructure requirements
Experience with job costing, scheduling, and estimating contract changes
