Key Responsibilities
Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws
Facilitate legitimate trade and travel
Conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances
Determine admissibility of individuals entering the U.S.

Required Qualifications
U.S. citizenship
Residency in the U.S. for 3 of the last 5 years
Age limit: must be referred before turning 40 (some exceptions apply)
Experience or education as outlined for GS-5 or GS-7
Preferred Qualifications
Prior law enforcement or military law enforcement experience
