LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Los Angeles, California.
Job Description & Requirements

📋 Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a telemetry/med-surg setting.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and manage non-titratable cardiac drips.
- Administer medications, including Heparin and vasoactive drips (non-titration).
- Perform and manage IV therapy, including central and PICC line care.
- Manage patients with chronic ventilation, tracheostomies, chest tubes, and oxygen therapy.
- Care for oncology and respiratory patients, including chemotherapy monitoring.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.
- Follow infection control protocols, including isolation precautions and wound care management.
✅ Requirements
- Active California RN License (must be valid at submission)
- Minimum 3 years of recent Med-Surg/Telemetry experience (U.S. hospital setting)
- Must be able to read and interpret cardiac strips
- Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- NIHSS (Stroke Certification)
- References: Two recent supervisor or manager references rated 4–5
- Competency Ratings: Level 3 or higher in core Telemetry/Med-Surg skills
