Number of Staff: 32 nursing staff
Type of staff: Day Shift: 1 charge, 3-4 nurses, 1 unit secretary, 1 nurse s aide / Night Shift - 1 charge, 3-4 nurses, 1 nurse s aide
Patient Ratios: 6:1
Type of equipment - EMR Meditech/CPN
Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Good working knowledge of postpartum unit Good communication skills Good organizational skills Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. IV start skills Foley catheter placement
List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Discharges and admissions Vitals signs, medication administration, hourly rounds on patients Education to patients
Best personality Fit: Flexible, Able to adapt to fast-paced unit
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: CPR NRP ACLS
Floating Area(s): Postpartum/surgical
Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - Royal blue
Weekends and On call(if any) Every other weekend, if indicated
