Join DMC Receiving Hospital as a Radiologic Technologist and play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services. Under supervision, you will perform radiological exams, ensure patient safety, and contribute to a leading trauma center known for its state-of-the-art facilities.
Perform diagnostic radiological exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment Verify patient identity and review medical records for appropriateness of exam Interview patients to obtain and verify medical history Explain procedures to patients including side effects and risks Set up equipment and acquire appropriate images Review images, document exceptions, and communicate data to radiologist Recognize and respond to medical emergencies Provide post-care instructions to patients Participate in process improvement activities within radiology Provide imaging education to residents and student technologists Be available for on-call/standby as required Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography (R) AHA Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS) training required by end of orientation
