Job Description

Join The Jewish Board as a Social Worker and make a significant impact in community behavioral health. Provide compassionate, evidence-based services to individuals and families, utilizing a culturally affirming approach within a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and psychosocial assessments
  • Develop treatment plans in collaboration with clients and family members
  • Provide individual, group, family, collateral treatment and crisis services/interventions
  • Liaise with families, schools, criminal justice, and other community agencies to coordinate care
  • Maintain documentation according to standards and time frames established by the Jewish Board

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in counseling, creative arts, or social work
  • New York State License or limited permit in Mental Health Counseling (LMHC), Creative Arts Therapy (LCAT), or social work (LMSW)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience treating children or adolescents
  • Fluency in a second language
