Job Details:
• Work day/night rotation schedule with 36 hours per week guaranteed
• On-call responsibilities required
• Work in 21-bed medical-surgical neurological unit
• Care for patients with neuromuscular disorders, meningitis, traumatic brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries
• Manage post-surgical patients including tumor resections, spinal surgery, and head/neck cancer procedures
• Required experience with chest tubes, various drips including Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, and amiodarone
• Must have experience with lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients
• Care for patients with trachs and laryngectomies
• Telemetry monitoring experience required
• Manage complex wound care
• Central line care, maintenance, and blood draw experience required
• Work in Level IV Epilepsy center with implanted electrodes and scalp leads
