Key Responsibilities
Evaluate students through observation and assessments
Develop and implement individualized OT intervention strategies
Collaborate with school teams to create and update IEPs and Section 504 Plans
Document OT services and student progress
Facilitate student independence through assistive technology
Provide direct supervision of occupational therapy assistants
Required Qualifications
National Board Certification for Occupational Therapy
Current Illinois license to practice occupational therapy
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in developing Individualized Education Programs
Knowledge of evidence-based practices
Experience collaborating with diverse teams
