Search Consultant, Accounting and Finance
A global leader in sustainable building solutions is growing its U.S. finance team and looking for a Senior Accounting & Reporting Financial Analyst to support key transformation initiatives, including the shift from IFRS to US GAAP/SOX compliance and the preparation for a public listing.
This is a high-visibility role in a dynamic, hybrid corporate environment that combines hands-on accounting work with systems development, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone with Big 4 or large audit firm experience in manufacturing or construction , who wants to take the next step in a complex, high-growth setting.
Location: Dundee, MI
Work Style: Hybrid (3 days/week onsite)
What You’ll Do:
- Support the transition from IFRS to US GAAP and SOX compliance
- Lead or assist in standardizing financial processes across the U.S. operations
- Help build and implement tools for reporting, analysis, and internal controls
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits
- Perform and review monthly reconciliations , flux analysis, and account reviews
- Assist in the development of financial systems and reporting tools , including SAP and cloud-based platforms (SAC, Tagetik, Qlik)
- Work on special projects, including technical accounting research and memos
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (CPA/CMA preferred)
- 5+ years of professional experience, ideally including Big 4 or large audit background
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP , internal controls, and public company readiness
- Experience in the manufacturing or construction industry is a plus
- Advanced Excel and comfort working in complex ERP/reporting systems (SAP/SAC preferred)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
