ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Phoenix, Arizona.
Opportunity:
RN - Cardiac Tele
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Must work minimum 2 weekends per month (4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks)
• Holiday work may be required based on unit coverage needs
• MUST have Level 1 Trauma experience
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance (2 attempts allowed)
• Must pass Day 1 pass/fail SIMS Lab for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Work on 6 HLT - Cardiac Tele Post-Intervention Unit with 18 beds
• Nurse-to-patient ratio 3:1
• Required to interpret telemetry
• Float to other Tele/MedSurg units as needed
• Care for post cath lab/interventional procedure patients, chest pain, acute coronary syndrome, and CHF patients
• May serve as charge nurse and take patients when unit needs require
• Must have own vehicle for travel
• Dress code: Navy scrubs, natural hair color, no facial piercings
• Men must be clean shaven for fit test
• 2-shift floor-specific orientation provided
Facility:
This Level 1 Trauma Center provides comprehensive cardiac care services with a specialized 18-bed cardiac telemetry post-intervention unit. The facility utilizes Cerner EMR system and maintains 24/7 respiratory therapy and pharmacy services. The hospital offers advanced cardiac interventional procedures and maintains high standards for nursing competency, particularly in sterile field techniques and cardiac monitoring. The facility provides SWAT RN support for difficult IV access and has dedicated nurse aides to support patient care.
