Job Description

Join Zen Educate as a Teaching Assistant and make a meaningful impact in special education. You'll support diverse learners, assist with classroom management, and implement tailored interventions that foster student growth in a welcoming school community.

Key Responsibilities

Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
Provide one-on-one or small group behavioral support
Collaborate with teachers and behavior specialists
Monitor and document behavioral data
Communicate with special education staff and families
Support students with daily routines

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma
Experience supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs
Experience providing personal care support
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to stay calm and patient in challenging situations
US Work Authorization
English proficiency
Passion for supporting students

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting children with autism or severe emotional needs
Experience in special education with moderate to severe behaviors
Bachelor’s Degree
Knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies
Additional training in behavioral techniques
