Join Genmab as an Associate Director, Tax and play a pivotal role in shaping the company's growing tax function. Focused on U.S. tax operations, you'll manage compliance, coordinate tax credit studies, and enhance operational processes while collaborating with various corporate functions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of Federal, State, and U.S. international income tax compliance
Coordinate U.S. R&D tax credit study
Manage U.S. income tax provision reporting process
Prepare budgetary transfer pricing calculations
Evaluate state tax planning opportunities and risk mitigation strategies
Manage tax audits and notices with U.S. tax authorities
Oversee tax determination and reporting process for indirect taxes
Coordinate with global tax team and external advisors
Establish and maintain tax processes and controls
Assist in operational tax process enhancement
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance
10 years of combined experience in a corporate in-house tax department and a Big 4 accounting firm
Solid technical knowledge of US tax law
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong project management skills
Preferred Qualifications
CPA or master’s degree in taxation
Experience in an inbound multinational context, preferably in life sciences, biotech, or technology sector
Experience with OneSource Tax Provision, OneSource Income Tax, and SAP S4/Hana
