Job Description

Join Lockheed Martin as a Low Observable Engineer Lead, where you'll engage in cutting-edge design and integration of Low Observable technologies. Collaborate with teams to analyze and develop innovative solutions that address complex challenges in the aerospace sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analysis and presentations for complex optical or material design activities
  • Coordination of performance trade studies during program design phase
  • Analyze, research, design, and develop materials and fabrication processes
  • Perform requirements development and test data analysis
  • Some travel required (~25% of time)

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or related field
  • 9 years of professional experience or 7 years with a related Master's degree
  • Experience with LO system design, integration, testing and verification
  • Experience with optical materials and coatings
  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with RCS Analysis
  • Experience with LO materials development
  • Active Top Secret security clearance
  • Experience with Passive and Active EO IR systems
  • Experience with CAMEO/MBSE
