Key Responsibilities
Management of Health and Safety team with 6 direct reports
Overseeing employee and contractor training programs
Establishing and maintaining industrial hygiene monitoring and reporting programs
Acting as a liaison during emergencies
Meeting reporting requirements for regulations
Interfacing with regulatory agencies during audits
Creating and enforcing safety policies
Conducting inspections and risk assessments
Providing training programs and communicating safety protocols
Monitoring safety metrics and preparing reports
Ensuring legal compliance
Fostering a culture of safety and well-being
Seeking continuous improvement in safety practices
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
At least 10 years of experience in a Health & Safety role
Strong knowledge of OSHA and other relevant regulations
Excellent communication skills
Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop safety programs
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Corn wet milling experience
