Key Responsibilities
Assist with administrative and clinical tasks
Schedule appointments and update patient information in EPIC
Take patients' vital signs
Support the delivery of cost-effective, clinically competent healthcare
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants
Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program
Completed two years of medical training in the U.S. Armed Forces
Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant including clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration
Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
6 months of healthcare experience
6 months of medical assistant experience
