Job Description
Join the Jewish Board as a Crisis Behavioral Health Clinician and make a significant impact on the lives of children and young adults in crisis. As part of a dedicated team, you will provide essential crisis interventions and support in the Staten Island community, ensuring effective treatment and care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide culturally competent crisis interventions to children and young adults experiencing emotional disturbances
Perform risk assessments and psychosocial evaluations during initial crisis response
Create safety plans in collaboration with client and family
Develop and implement short-term service plans
Utilize evidence-based practices for short-term clinical interventions
Maintain case documentation in electronic health record system
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
Required Qualifications
Licensed Mental Health clinician
Valid NYS Driver's License
Minimum of one year of relevant experience with similar client population
Proficient reading and writing English
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual clinicians if relevant to the population serviced at site
