Job Description

Join the Jewish Board as a Crisis Behavioral Health Clinician and make a significant impact on the lives of children and young adults in crisis. As part of a dedicated team, you will provide essential crisis interventions and support in the Staten Island community, ensuring effective treatment and care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide culturally competent crisis interventions to children and young adults experiencing emotional disturbances
  • Perform risk assessments and psychosocial evaluations during initial crisis response
  • Create safety plans in collaboration with client and family
  • Develop and implement short-term service plans
  • Utilize evidence-based practices for short-term clinical interventions
  • Maintain case documentation in electronic health record system
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed Mental Health clinician
  • Valid NYS Driver's License
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience with similar client population
  • Proficient reading and writing English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual clinicians if relevant to the population serviced at site
