Job Description
As a Delivery Service Supervisor at Sysco, you will oversee delivery operations, ensuring safety and efficiency. Your role involves managing staff, analyzing delivery data, and implementing improvements to meet performance goals.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily work and safety of delivery associates
Analyze data for maintaining optimal delivery plans
Direct labor activities to stay within budget
Coordinate with departments for necessary repairs
Review delivery productivity and suggest efficiency improvements
Train and apply company policies related to safety and performance
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
1-3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to effectively communicate and lead discussions
Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
Preferred Qualifications
Two or four-year college degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or similar field
