Job Description

As a Field Survey Manager, you'll lead project surveys, ensuring compliance with regulations while mentoring junior technicians. This role involves extensive travel across the US, contributing to renewable energy projects and maintaining effective communication with project teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Survey leadership and Engineering to understand surveying requirements
  • Develop comprehensive survey plans considering project scope and timelines
  • Conduct on-site inspections to ensure alignment with project specifications
  • Monitor and supervise surveying teams for accuracy and adherence to standards
  • Foster communication between surveying teams and project management

Required Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in surveying, remote sensing, drafting, engineering, or related technical field preferred
  • Five years of survey experience in construction or operations
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Advanced understanding of surveying software (e.g., Trimble Business Center, MAGNET Office, Civil 3D)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Survey Technician (CST) I preferred
