Job Description
Join Genesis Healthcare as a Staff Development Coordinator, RN, where you will play a pivotal role in training nursing staff and ensuring quality patient care. Engage in developing educational programs and oversee employee health initiatives, contributing to a supportive environment that enhances the well-being of both staff and residents.
Key Responsibilities
Orient and educate nursing personnel
Develop education programs based on staff needs
Supervise and monitor new nursing employees during orientation
Perform annual competency testing and evaluation
Oversee Employee Health Program
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current RN license
Excellence in clinical nursing skills
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum three years full-time or equivalent clinical experience
Two years of clinical experience in long-term care nursing with one year as an educator
Experience in Gerontology
Training and/or experience in adult learning
