Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiology Clinic team. The RN will play a key role in supporting physicians, providing direct patient care, and ensuring a high standard of clinical excellence within an outpatient cardiology setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered nursing care in collaboration with cardiologists and multidisciplinary team members.
- Prepare and assist patients for cardiac tests and procedures, including EKGs and stress tests.
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans based on clinical findings.
- Educate patients and families on cardiovascular health, medication management, and lifestyle changes.
- Perform triage, manage phone consultations, and coordinate follow-up appointments.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EPIC electronic health record system.
- Support smooth clinical operations and ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
- Float to like units as needed within scope of practice.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 1 years of nursing experience; cardiology experience required.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Licensure: Active RN license in Washington State.
- Certifications: Current BLS certification (AHA required)..
