Join CenterWell Senior Primary Care as a Medical Assistant and be the first point of contact for patient care. In this role, you'll perform vital clinical and administrative duties while collaborating with healthcare professionals to enhance patient well-being.
Key Responsibilities
Perform clinical duties including discussing symptoms and gathering information for EMR
Taking vital signs and giving injections
Performing diagnostic tests and collecting specimens
Drawing blood and maintaining examination rooms
Collaborate closely with Physicians and Nurses
Required Qualifications
Successful completion of MA school/training program or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of experience
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 2 years as a Medical Assistant in a primary care setting
Phlebotomy experience
Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system experience
Certified or Registered Medical Assistant
TB screening requirement
Preferred Qualifications
Medication/vaccine administration experience
Value Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
