Key Responsibilities
Complete and assure the accuracy of MDS assessments for all residents
Determine PDPM and associated expenses for potential admissions
Monitor CMI scores and address potential risks
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for data collection
Provide education to facility staff and leaders
Required Qualifications
Valid state RN nursing license
Direct care in a long-term care setting
Strong organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree or certification
Experience as MDS Coordinator, Clinical Reimbursement Specialist, or Nurse Assessment Coordinator
Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing the MDS, EMR, PDP, MDS 3.0, Medicaid and Medicare requirements
