Job Details:
• Work Thursday and Friday nights from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Work Saturday and Sunday nights from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM • 3-5 years of CT technologist experience required • GE experience required - this is mandatory • Must be IV certified or IV competent for IV insertion procedures • Massachusetts license and ARRT(CT) certification with IV certification required • BLS certification required • Graduate of AMA approved educational program in Radiological Technology • Must be able to work independently as you may occasionally be alone • Work with both inpatient and outpatient cases including urgent care • Perform occasional CTA procedures (no coronal CTA)• Calcium scoring on GE equipment is a significant advantage • Operate brand new GE dual energy scanner, GE VCT and Evo/Evolution equipment • Complete CT procedures including proper scanner warm-up, QA, pressure injector setup • Adjust and manipulate images to required specifications including windowing and contrast • Handle administrative duties including tech editing, patient escort, and room preparation • Stock rooms and maintain clean, functional work areas • Report wet reading findings to physicians and emergency department • Use MEDITECH charting systemFacility:
