Key Responsibilities
Install, calibrate, repair, and perform preventive maintenance of instruments
Provide end-user guidance and on-the-job training
Assist with configuration management and troubleshooting
Inspect, evaluate, repair, and maintain specialty equipment and controls
Document maintenance activities and communicate with customers and contractors
Write maintenance and calibration procedures
Provide direction to less experienced technicians
Required Qualifications
Four-year degree in a scientific field or equivalent experience
Six years of experience in instrumentation and control
May require Level II or Level III ISA Certification
Understanding of physical standards of mass, temperature, flow, and pressure
Appropriate license or certification as required by laws
Working knowledge of computers/PLCs
Ability to read blueprints, schematic diagrams, and specification manuals
Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks including climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the pharmaceutical R&D industry
Understanding of FDA regulations, GMPs, and GLPs
Experience with scientific notation specific to the pharmaceutical industry
