Key Responsibilities
Organizes and maintains health information records
Reviews electronic chart documentation
Manages requests for documentation and information
Scans and edits documents in the electronic medical record
Locates, logs, retrieves, files, and delivers medical records
Distributes reports and results
May train and mentor co-workers
Analyzes documentation and tracks completion for regulatory requirements
Promotes principles of health information accuracy
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma / GED
Must be 18 years of age OR Older
2+ years of experience in Customer Service
Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Outlook
Ability to work onsite
Ability to work full-time during normal business hours
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience in Health information management (HIM)
2+ years of experience working in a health related environment
2+ years of experience in Medical terminology
