An Occupational Therapist in an inpatient setting evaluates and treats patients of all ages using various therapeutic techniques to improve their functional abilities. This role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals, documenting patient progress, and ensuring compliance with departmental standards and safety initiatives. The therapist also provides supervision and support to assistants, aides, and students while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of policies and continuing education.
Position Objective:
Evaluates patients, neonatal through geriatric, for occupational therapy services and provides therapeutic intervention according to departmental standards. Assesses the appropriateness and effectiveness of services provided to patients and documents same according to departmental standards and the special needs of patients of all ages.

Educational/Experience Requirements:
The minimum level of education and experience for this position includes:
· Acute care or related experience preferred; however, new graduates will be considered depending on current departmental staffing
