Job Description
Hertz is seeking a self-directed Manager of IT Service Delivery to oversee database services in a non-mainframe environment. The role involves managing service delivery, ensuring SLA compliance, and driving process improvements while collaborating with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Manage overall delivery, solution and support of database services
Ensure Service Provider adherence to SLAs and KPIs
Serve as escalation point for incidents
Identify areas for process improvement
Conduct regular team meetings
Participate in budget planning process
Drive capacity, scalability, reliability, and security initiatives
Required Qualifications
3+ years Service Delivery experience with Managed Service Provider(s)
8+ years Oracle database administration experience
5+ years SQL*Server experience
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Strong knowledge of the Linux & Windows operating system
Ability to think and act strategically
Strong planning and organizing skills
Experience working in a highly collaborative environment
Experience working in a 24x7 support environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Oracle 11g, 12c and 19c
Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)
Experience with process improvement and operational efficiency projects
