Job Overview

Evolution Design Build Group is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Residential Construction Project Manager to join our vibrant team. In this role, you'll oversee residential remodeling projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline goals are met. You will be the main point of contact for clients and coordinate with our talented architects, designers, and subcontractors. Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Lead and manage residential construction projects using BuilderTrend software.
  • Act as the main point of contact for homeowners, coordinating weekly site meetings and monthly financial reviews.
  • Maintain accurate job documentation, schedules, budgets, and change orders.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors—obtain estimates, schedule work, and ensure quality standards.
  • Oversee the on-site activities of the Field Manager and Lead Carpenter (or step in when needed).
  • Order non-selection materials and collaborate with the Selections Manager on client-specified items.
  • Ensure compliance with permits, plans, spec sheets, and work orders.
  • Track receipts and invoices, assisting the Financial Manager in maintaining budget accuracy.
  • Keep daily logs, project photos, and job notes updated and organized in Google Workspace and BuilderTrend.
  • Attend weekly company meetings and maintain excellent communication with all stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in residential construction project management.
  • Associate's degree preferred or equivalent field experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A proactive and collaborative attitude—able to take initiative and solve problems independently.
  • Proficiency in BuilderTrend, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), and general project management software.
  • A passion for quality construction and delivering an exceptional client experience.

Schedule

  • Full-time | Monday to Friday
  • Mandatory team meeting: Tuesdays, 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM
