Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment on-site
Perform electrical installations of a commercial nature
Plan layout and installation of electrical equipment, conduit, wiring and fixtures
Install electrical conduit, equipment, fixtures or wiring in floors, walls and ceilings
Install, inspect and test electrical systems
Perform installations of panel boards, conduits, fixtures, disconnects, breakers, and power distribution equipment
Ensure code compliance through proper installation of electrical components
Report work orders and work progress to a foreperson
Required Qualifications
Must be 18 years or older
Three (3) years of experience as a Journeyman in the electrical field
Valid, unexpired driver's license
Journeyman electrician's license in the relevant jurisdiction
Preferred Qualifications
Five (5) years of experience as an electrician
Prior experience in an industrial or commercial setting
