Key Responsibilities
Utilize medical equipment and procedures for advanced medical care
Drive the ambulance and provide map reading support
Maintain required certifications
Communicate with dispatcher for call data
Monitor and maintain the ambulance unit
Document patient care and billing activities
Follow policies for out-of-chute and turnaround times
Consider patient status for transportation destinations
Work collaboratively with other health and public safety personnel
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Current state Paramedic License
Valid State Driver’s License
Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP, BTLS or PHTLS Provider Certification
Driving record in compliance with AMR Safety and Driving policy
