Position Description

This role offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility that provides a wide range of services, including orthopedics, spine services, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, emergency department, and behavioral health. The center also includes 11 multi-specialty physician clinics.

• Shift: 7A-7P
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend unless person working opposite is a weekender
• Call Requirements: None
• Required Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIH Stroke
• Years of Experience: 2-3 years in Emergency Department and 1 year travel
• Float Requirements: Not Applicable

Patient Population

Primarily geriatric and adult patients, with some pediatric cases.

Hiring Profile

• Must Have Skills/Experience: 2-3 years ED experience; ability to efficiently and safely care for a team of patients regardless of acuity; ability to recognize changes in patient status and comfort with knowing what to do in a situation
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Experience with common diagnoses such as chest pain, abdominal pain, and psychiatric conditions
• Personality Fit: Teamwork-oriented, easy-going, friendly, hardworking
• Required Education: At least an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
