A Pathology Physician provides expert analysis and diagnosis of surgical and cytology specimens, including frozen section analysis and rapid onsite evaluation. They handle a high volume of cases daily, supporting clinical decision-making in hospital settings. Board certification and medical licensing are required, along with proficiency in EMR systems such as Epic.
Pathologist Locum Need
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM + rotating night/weekend call

Surgical pathology sign-out
Cytopathology sign-out
Frozen section analysis
Rapid onsite evaluation (ROSE) of cytology specimens
Case Volume:
Surgical Pathology: 5,932 annually ( 16 cases/day)
Cytology: 1,123 annually ( 3 cases/day)
Requirements:
Board Certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
Active NJ Medical License (or ability to obtain)
Onsite availability with flexibility for call
Familiarity with Epic EMR
