• Location: Aurora, Illinois 60506 (Chicago metro area)
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel contract
• Start Date: September 15, 2025
• End Date: December 14, 2025
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing – Emergency Room
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1360–$1460

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
• Current BLS certification (required)
• Current ACLS certification (required within 30 days of hire)
• Current PALS and/or ENPC certification (required within 30 days of hire)
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation (required within 30 days of hire)
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital RN experience; Emergency Room nursing experience preferred
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department
• Utilize the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Deliver direct patient care within ER RN scope of practice
• Educate patients and families; guide activities of other nursing staff
• Maintain professional standards of nursing care
• Communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare team members
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and treatment response
• Demonstrate knowledge of EMTALA regulations and mandatory reporting requirements
• Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
