Travel Nurse Across America Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in St Louis, Missouri.
Specialty: Cardiac ICU • Weekend Hours: As required by facility/every other weekend • Call Requirements: None • Required Licensure: Current MO or compact • Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only, NIHSS • Preferred Certifications: TNCC • Years of Experience: 3 years of CVICU experience. Experience recovering open hearts directly from the OR. • Float Requirements: May be floated to other stepdown units depending on staffing needs Unit Information: • Number of Beds: 22 • Patient Ratios: 1:2 • Equipment: Impella, IABP, Prismax CRRT, Zoll internal cooling device, Arctic Sun, • EMR: EPIC Hiring Profile: • Must Have Skills/Experience: 3 years of CVICU experience. Experience recovering open hearts directly from the OR. Cardiac and Med ICU experience does not apply. • Preferred Skillset/Experience: experience with medical ICU patients, cardiac emphasis (arrhythmias, STEMI, post arrest) • Type of Patients on Unit: sepsis, respiratory (pneumonia, COVID, ARDS, etc.) post cardiac arrest, GI bleed, DKA, PE, renal failure, liver failure, pancreatitis, overdose, suicidal ideations, CIWA, Dress Code: • Scrub Color: Black Flu Shot required
