Job Description
Join Gulfstream Aerospace as an Avionics/Electrical Technician Lead on the 2nd shift and play a vital role in overseeing electrical and avionics activities, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. Leverage your experience in aircraft maintenance to lead a team and coordinate essential tasks while contributing to the innovative maintenance of cutting-edge business jets.
Key Responsibilities
Plans and schedules electrical/avionics activities
Provides daily status reports and progress schedules to management
Supervises and instructs electrical technicians
Maintains preventive maintenance program on test equipment and tools
Enforces safety regulations and company programs
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Eight (8) years experience in aircraft avionics/electrical career field
Two (2) years experience on large/mid-size aircraft
Preferred Qualifications
Two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics
Other Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
FCC license
NCATT Certification
Proficiency in troubleshooting other aircraft systems (e.g., hydraulics, landing gear)
