Job Description
Join Optum as a Pediatric Clinical Therapist and provide vital behavioral health services to children and adolescents in a hybrid care model. You'll play a key role in improving patient well-being through collaboration with healthcare providers and delivering evidence-based interventions.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct clinical behavioral health services to pediatric patients
Coordinate care with primary care providers and psychiatrists
Screen and assess patients for mental health and substance abuse disorders
Track treatment response and monitor patients for clinical changes
Support psychotropic medication management
Provide brief behavioral interventions using evidence-based techniques
Participate in caseload consultation and communicate treatment recommendations
Develop relapse prevention self-management plans
Required Qualifications
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Experience providing behavioral health services to pediatric patients
3+ years of experience treating patients with behavioral health conditions
1+ years of experience in primary care or integrated medical settings
Experience with evidence-based psychosocial treatments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM)
Detail-oriented and organized
Ability to maintain professional relationships
Experience with virtual and in-person patient interactions
Proficiency with technology solutions
