Key Responsibilities
Assist with administrative and clinical tasks such as scheduling appointments and taking patients’ vital signs
Update patient information in EPIC
Support the delivery of reliable healthcare in a team-oriented environment
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants
Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program
Completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces
Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant including clinical skills such as obtaining vital signs and administering injections
Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
6 months of Healthcare experience
6 months of Medical Assistant experience
