Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations to determine functional impairments
Design and implement evidence-based therapy programs tailored to patient needs
Administer therapeutic interventions including strength training, gait training, manual therapy, and balance exercises
Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation
Educate patients and families on rehabilitation goals, home exercises, and preventive care
Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to ensure integrated treatment plans
Participate in discharge planning and transition of care
Maintain compliance with state and facility-specific protocols
Required Qualifications
Doctorate or Bachelor's/Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Current North Carolina PT license or eligibility for compact licensure
BLS certification required
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred, ideally in inpatient or acute rehab settings
Strong clinical judgment, time management, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations
