Job Description
Join Whole Foods Market as a Commercial Kitchen Equipment Maintenance Team Leader and make a significant impact by ensuring the safety and efficiency of our food production facility. You will lead a dedicated maintenance team, oversee equipment repairs, and implement preventive maintenance schedules in a fast-paced environment focused on nourishing people and the planet.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily operations of the maintenance team
Ensure compliance with USDA and safety standards
Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement repair strategies
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules
Manage maintenance budgets and inventory
Required Qualifications
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
2+ years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment
12+ months of maintenance supervisory experience
OSHA safety certification or relevant safety training
In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and hydraulic systems
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant certifications (CMRP, CPMM)
Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Basic understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) processes
