Join our team as a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist, where you will provide essential treatments and evaluations to patients, helping them improve their speech and language functions. This role allows for flexibility while making a significant impact on patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluates patients based on departmental standards.
Conducts and modifies evaluations based on patient's symptoms and medical status.
Treats patients with appropriate therapeutic techniques.
Administers physical agents and manual therapeutic techniques.
Educates patients and families in home exercise programs.
Documents in accordance with insurance guidelines.
Supervises at least one affiliated student per year.
Participates in departmental in-service or community in-service.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a M.S.
Holds or is eligible for current Connecticut license.
Eligible or has a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
Valid driver's license for occasional travel between ECHN business sites.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Basic personal computer skills in the use of Windows-based programs such as Word, Outlook, and Excel.
