As a Radiology Technologist III at Alameda Health System, you will perform essential imaging procedures and support patient care with high standards of safety and professionalism. Key Responsibilities
Perform a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment
Perform general diagnostic and routine fluoroscopic duties
Produce radiographs and position/transfers patients
Select proper technical factors on an individual patient basis
Operate imaging equipment as directed
Develop film and utilize the PACS system
Provide protection in accordance with radiation safety standards
Assist physician in administering opaque media
Maintain records, orderliness, and cleanliness in the department
Assist in training of students and ancillary personnel
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Two years of continuous recent experience as a radiologic technologist II
BLS - Basic Life Support Certification (AHA)
Certification/Competency in at least one specialized area (Mammography, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Angiography or PACS)
Fluoroscopy Permit issued by the State of California Department of Health Services
Valid mammography certification (if applicable)
Valid certificate as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the State of California Department of Public Health
Valid ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification or equivalent education
