Position Summary:
Person Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced ER environment. This role requires critical thinking, rapid decision-making, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care based on the nursing process and hospital policies.
- Triage, assess, and monitor patients presenting with a wide range of acute conditions.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Respond to emergency situations with appropriate interventions.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state of North Carolina (or compact state license).
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 3-5 year of ER experience

- Ability to work must be able to work rotating weekends.
