Join Zen Educate as a Behavior Technician (TA) and make a difference in students' lives by providing essential support in behavior management and academic engagement. Work directly with students to implement individualized behavior support plans and contribute to a positive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist licensed staff in the classroom by implementing academic adaptations and individualized education plans (IEPs)
Work with students individually or in small groups to support their self-care and social/behavioral needs
Maintain a safe and conducive classroom environment
Provide timely support for students in crisis situations
Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes
Required Qualifications
60 college credits or higher or passing score on the Paraeducator Assessment or the Paraprofessional Assessment
Professional proficiency in English
U.S. Work Authorization
Preferred Qualifications
ParaPro Certification
Behavioral Technician or PCA experience working with children
Past work experience in a school setting with children with special needs
